- I applied for my passport! Like I had mentioned in a previous post (or at least I think I did) I'd had the papers all ready for quite a while. My dad also decided to renew his passport in case something happens to me while I'm away and one of my parents needs to come to Peru. Anyways, we got all the stuff filled out, then went to the local post office and got our pictures taken. Mine weren't terrible, actually. I'd post a pic but the picture is on my phone and I don't want to go through the pain of transferring it haha. Everything went smoothly and we were out of there in about 45 minutes. Our passports should (hopefully) arrive in a couple weeks. I'll post a pic when I get it.
- I started a facebook group called Rotary Youth Exchange to Peru 2013-2014 because I'd come across several other people going to Peru. There are, I believe, 9 members in the group as of this moment. 4 or 5 from the US, 2 from Denmark, and I think one or two from Canada. So that's pretty exciting!! Several of them know their host district, but no one is completely certain on their city. I am curious as to when I'll be receiving my placement info. If some people are getting it now, in January, why should I have to wait until June?? haha

Well, what else is there... Hmm... we had a snow day a couple days ago! Funny how they didn't give us a snow day when it was -22 degrees F, but now at 15 degrees F its suddenly necessary. Hahaha I spent the day playing Subway Surfer and being lazy. I am curious what the climate/weather will be like in my host city. Hopefully warm :)
